Q. How do you handle stress?
Notice how this question is slightly different for "can handle stress?" Answer: "I break down my work in smaller steps and stages of those rather than getting worked up over the bigger picture."
...Or: "tend to see problems before they become too large to handle and make contingencies to cover them."
Q. how much time you are looking for another job/position?
If you have been unemployed for a while, of course, the employer is going to think why did not anyone want them all this time? If they were good they surely? d have found a job by now? In addition, always remember that businesses are powered by innovation and solving customer problems and needs. They're not fed by the amount of their employee work hours.
You're not there to work 40 hours per week. You are there to reach and achieve certain goals. So, the best answer to the question is along the lines of:
I don't want just any old job. I? ve been using my days looking for companies that I'd like to work for and where I feel I could grow and develop my skills and be a key member in the company's success. I? ve also been studying and reading to give me additional skills to add more value to my career.
You could also go on to explain that you knew that this would go against you because of the length of time you were out of work, but you realized that your whole future was based on what you did now and were willing to run this risk.
Q. have you ever been fired?
Try to answer "no".
If you have been and are asked about it, explain why, and what have you learned from the experience. If other people with you were fired or resigned because of a change in management, or were fired due to offshoring then explain that as well.
