Healthscope Pathology, one of the leading healthcare companies in Australia, is seeking an experienced second-in-charge Scientific Officer to join the Central Coast team.

The successful applicant will be based at the Erina laboratory, which is a multi-disciplined site offering a variety of services including routine biochemistry, haematology, coagulation and blood banking. Testing is performed using a range of automated and semi-automated analysers.

Selection Criteria:

Essential -

Relevant tertiary qualifications Minimum 5 experience Laboratory experience (preferably multi-skilled) Ability to work in a team environment High attention to detail, quality of work and customer service Ability to commit to the flexible working hours of the healthcare industry and participate in an on-call roster Preferred -

Past experience in the management of inventory, staff and quality systems Proficiency in the areas of OHS and NATA accreditation requirements. Salary will be commensurate with your experience, and consistent with the Health Professionals and Support Services Award 2010.
