We are seeking Surgical Nurses with experience in Paediatrics to join our team.

Brisbane Private Hospital treats over 20,000 patients per year, with a staff of approximately 400 professionals and is owned and operated by Healthscope - a leading private health care provider that operates in every Australian State and Territory. 

Located in central Brisbane, our 160 bed private hospital is conveniently situated at the top of the Wickham Terrace medical precinct, overlooking parklands and the city skyline.  The General Surgical & Paediatric ward is a 38 bed unit caring for patients undergoing a variety of different procedures.  The specialities include, Gynaecology & Gynae-oncology, ENT, Head & Neck, Vascular, Bariatric, General Surgical, Urology, Upper Limb Orthopaedics and Plastics.

Essential criteria:

Clinical competence in surgical nursing and/ or paediatrics Capacity to work within a team environment Excellent customer service skills Well developed written, verbal and electronic skills A high level of professional self-awareness and reflective practice Desirable criteria:

Post graduate qualifications in paediatric nursing 12 months or greater acute surgical nursing experience Brisbane Private Hospital employees enjoy:
