An experienced and qualified accountant required by St Elizabeth Home, a successful ethnic-specific aged care facility in the Blacktown area.
Must have tertiary qualifications in accounting and experience in a similar senior role, preferably in the aged care industry. Excellent communication skills both oral & written; and a working knowledge of the Care Systems Software Package or other aged care software is desirable.
Main responsibilities include hands-on maintenance of the the general ledger system; provision of operational support to other administrative staff on the Care System software; ensuring compliance with all legislations affecting the aged care facility together with the accounting standards and monthly reporting to management and the board.
