Our client is a leading industry association based in South Melbourne. An opportunity has arisen for a qualified and experienced practitioners of industrial relations to their organization.

The most important aspects of the role are reporting to the CEO (Victoria):

Competent and timely industrial relations/labor relations advice and guidance to members OrganisationFormulating IR / him effectively support their employees manage policies and procedures for the members and solve to communicate my computer IssuesUndertake research and analysis of IR/ER trends/issues and development prospects and strategies for members representing the members of the Association in the Labour Court MattersPromote Member States problems with the competent officials need and are looking for positive OutcomesKeep, members of all proposed amendments notified industrial relations / fair work Australia regulations and other legislation, the impact on the employment RelationshipRegularly short association management in industrial relations issues and strategic options in this area

The candidate:

Ideally tertiary in a relevant discipline (law, personnel management, economy), qualified would be candidates at least six years experience in the IR/ER field (including some time in the industry), the middle management experience, the strong negotiation skills, a good listener, have good analytical skills and the ability effectively to communicate both orally and in writing. A legal practicing certificate would be beneficial.
