They partner with the community, engineering consultants and contractors on water services projects, water conservation, operations work and asset planning.
An exciting opportunity exists in Wellington for a Senior Engineer to join their Asset Development team to provide leadership in the delivery of projects. This is a key appointment and you will need to demonstrate a sound understanding of water services and supply, maintenance practices and computer information systems including modelling packages and life cycle costings.
To be successful you will have an engineering qualification along with strong technical expertise in all three water asset areas. Your proven skills and experience in carrying out design and investigation studies and feasibility studies will be at senior level experience as will your project management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as a proven ability to lead and develop others within a team.
