Our client is looking for a Network & Systems Team Leader to join their IT team.

This is a dual role.

You will be responsible for managing and mentoring a team that provide 3rd level server and networking support.

In addition, you will also be required to provide 3rd level server and networking support.

To be successful in this position, you will need to have previous experience managing a 3rd level support team. You will need to have the ability to coach and mentor the team as well as be an escalation point for technical issues.

In addition, you will also need to have solid experience working in a role where you support both LAN and WAN technologies. This will include:

Windows servers, Active Directory and ExchangeVMWareStorageCisco routers and switchesFirewalls (ideally Check Point)Any telephony experience would be highly regarded (but is not essential)

Other skills required:

Solid time management skillsExcellent communication skills (both written and oral)Strong documentation skillsExperience managing projects –such as server and network upgrades and implementationsStrong vendor management skills - proven experience managing external 3rd party vendors
